Sustainability Efforts
Here at Solar Sun World, we are committed to partaking in as many sustainability efforts as possible!
We actively recycle as many materials from our commercial and residential projects as possible, including the styrofoam, film plastic, cardboard, all hard plastics like PVC, excess wire, and palettes by taking them to the local CHARM facility in Athens, Ga
(https://www.athensclarkecounty.com/5894/CHaRM).
Many of our employees actively compost food scraps with the local Athens, Ga business Let Us Compost (https://www.letuscompost.com), drive alternative fuel vehicles powered by processed waste oil from a plant in Monroe, Ga called Clean Energy Bio-fuels (https://cleanenergybiofuels.com) and of course power their own homes with solar!!
Every little bit makes a big difference, and we would love to hear from you about your own sustainability efforts and any suggestions you might have on how Solar Sun World and its employees can be even more "green".
